Why Shine? ✨ 15 years ago today, my family lost my oldest brother in Afghanistan.

The months and years after were the hardest, darkest, and most unimaginable. But even in that darkness, God surrounded me with two things that ultimately helped me heal— creativity and community.

Through creativity, I found a way to express the emotions I couldn’t put into words. And through the support of an incredible community, I began to see light again.

That’s why Shine Studio means so much to me. It’s more than just a photo studio or another venue; it’s a reflection of this journey.

This is a place where I hope others can find healing, inspiration, and connection— No matter what you’re going through, remember that the light will always shine through, even in the darkest moments.

Thank you for being a part of this community, and for helping me continue to share that light. 🤍✨
